Jul 20, 2012 · The reason I purchased the 2011 version of the combo was primarily due to the additional “low volume” switch that wasn’t present on the original Class 5. This switch really does allow the bedroom guitarist play through a screaming, all-valve, Marshall amp without annoying the wife/neighbours/kids/dog etc (delete as appropriate!).
